Dr. Diana Elrod has more than 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing multidisciplinary undergraduate research programs and student success programs.

Elrod has served as a grant writer, evaluator, principal investigator, and consultant and has over 20 years of experience with National Science Foundation, Department of Labor, Department of Education, National Institutes of Health, Office of Naval Research, and state funding entities.

Elrod served as the director of a Department of Education program, as a director of student research, and has experience in external partnership development.  She is experienced with proposal selection and development, proposal team development, and program evaluation.

Elrod has a B.S. degree in Biology (English minor), a M.S. degree in Biology, and a Ph.D. in Biology.
